For the adventurous there are two outdoor activity centres within 20 minutes’ drive offering a whole range of activities including Quad Biking, Zip Wires, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Axe Throwing and Archery.

The nearby counties of Shropshire and Worcestershire offer a wealth of places to visit including castles, steam railways, river walks, medieval towns, and glorious national parks full of wildlife. 

Hop over the border into Wales to explore waterfalls, nature reserves and of course the famous Offas Dyke.

The regional local produce is some of the finest you will find in the UK with Herefordshire itself boasting some award-winning ciders.
